Job Title: Paraplanner

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment of files/holdings following client meetings.

  • Liaising with advisers, providers, administrators and managers.

  • Producing high quality compliant suitability reports.

  • Undertaking fund analysis.

  • Problem solving on complex cases.

Essential Requirements

  • CII Certificate in Financial Planning as a minimum requirement or at the very least working towards this status.

  • A high level of technical expertise and knowledge of pensions, protection, investments and IHT planning.

  • Experience of working for an IFA in a similar role.

Required Attributes

Candidates must be:

  • Organised and professional; able to meet deadlines and have excellent timekeeping skills.

  • Competent when using I.T. and possess a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Able to demonstrate extensive experience in writing technical suitability reports and conducting high-quality fund research.

  • Experienced in providing administrative and technical support to advisers.

  • Diploma qualified; or at the very least working towards this status.

Further notes

  • Salary is dependent on experience, but will range between £24,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience).
